A filler is an effective means of filling folds and wrinkles.

At Filler House we only work with soluble, temporary fillers based on hyaluronic acid.

There are different types of fillers, each of which has its own specific properties for, for example, deeper grooves, fine lines or loss of volume.

The duration of the effect depends on the product and the area to be treated.

Filler House only works with approved and very safe products, which have more than extensively demonstrated their effect.

We work with various A brands such as:

Stylage, and Teosyal.

Fillers are substances that are injected into the skin for repair and rejuvenation of the skin. For example, they can be used for the following treatments:

Filling wrinkles and imperfections

Face volume recovery

Volume & adjust lip contour

Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in our skin and provides firmness and elasticity to the skin. As we age, the production of hyaluronic acid gradually decreases. This causes loss of volume and wrinkles arise.

Introducing small amounts of Hyaluronic Acid in the form of a clear, non-animal, biodegradable gel restores skin's moisture levels. Wrinkles will

this softens or even disappears, but it can also give more volume and contour to your face or lips.

There are different brands and concentrations of hyaluronic acid available. Depending on the depth of the wrinkle or for creating volume, the right product is chosen.

Frequently asked questions about fillers

There are certain questions that often come up about fillers and the injectables treatments. We have listed the most frequently asked questions for you in the overview below. Behind the questions are short and concise answers.

1. How does a filler treatment work?

During a filler treatment, fine lines and wrinkles are filled in with a filler, as it were. This is also known as hyaluronic acid. This substance is inserted with a very thin needle in the place where you want it. This can be, for example, a certain wrinkle or line that bothers you. However, it is also possible to make the lips fuller with fillers, for example. This is also known as lip augmentation. However, fillers can also be used for, for example, cheekbones, cheeks, jawline and the chin.

2. Am I suitable for a treatment with fillers?

For the treatment of fillers, the body's own hyaluronic acid is used. In principle, everyone is therefore suitable for this treatment.

3. What causes wrinkles?

As we age, various aging processes set in. Skin slackening and/or skin aging occurs. For example, we can see from the skin that it is getting older. The skin loses elasticity, which can cause wrinkles and lines. The extent to which someone suffers from skin aging depends on a number of factors. This includes genetic predisposition, lifestyle, sun exposure and stress.

4. What can I expect after the fillers?

Immediately after the treatment with fillers, you can already see the result of the treatment. In the beginning, the treated area may still be a little red and swollen, but the filler has already done its job. Many women (and nowadays also men) opt for this treatment because of the beautiful, natural and direct result.

5. Is a filler treatment painful?

In general, a filler treatment is not considered a painful treatment. People usually find inserting the needle the most annoying. According to most clients, this can be compared to a pin prick. In addition, all treatments at Filler House are done with anesthetic cream and there is also lidocaine in the filler itself.

6. Can I influence the final result myself?

As with all other cosmetic treatments, you also have an important share in the final result. Your health affects, among other things, the recovery after the treatment and therefore also influences the final result. It is also important that you adhere to the before and after care. In the pre- and aftercare, for example, instructions are given about smoking and the use of alcohol.

7. Are permanent or semi-permanent fillers used?

Nowadays only semi-permanent fillers can be used. These are also called temporary fillers. Permanent fillers are prohibited.

8. How long does a filler treatment take?

Depending on the number of zones being treated and the amount of ML you want to inject, it is on average 45 to 60 minutes.

9. When is the filler result optimal?

The final result of the filler treatment is usually best seen a few days after the treatment. Over time, the effect of the treatment will diminish. Usually it is decided to do a repeat treatment every 6 to 12 months.

10. Can the filler treatment be undone?

Over time, the effect of the filler treatment will decrease. However, it is also possible to quickly remove the fillers from the body. For example, if you opt for the hyaluronic acid filler, the substance hyazone can be injected to quickly dissolve the filler and remove it from the body. This option makes the treatment even safer.

11. What types of fillers are there?

There are many different types of fillers. Note that there are large differences in quality. Filler House only uses the best quality filler Stylage® from Vivacy

12. Is a filler treatment only for women or also for men?

It is striking that the number of men who opt for a filler treatment has increased sharply in recent years. About 10 years ago there was almost no man who opted for fillers, while this percentage is now much higher. It is estimated that this is now about 10%. An important reason for this is that it is becoming more and more normal for men to do something about their appearance.

13. Can the filler treatment be paid in instalments?

No this is not possible.

14. What is discussed during a fillers consultation?

Many people like to come for a consultation first, to get acquainted and to discuss wishes. During the consultation you can present your wishes and ask any questions you may have. In addition, your skin will be examined and it will be explained what results you can expect. During this introductory meeting, your health will also be discussed and an explanation will be given about how the treatment works.

15. What are fillers made of?

There are various temporary fillers that are broken down by your body. The differences are in the main component of which the relevant filler is made. Filler House works with fillers based on the body's own hyaluronic acid.

16. Fillers or botox treatment?

Both fillers and botulinum toxin are used in the treatment of wrinkles. However, they are different products with different applications. One of the biggest differences is that botox is a muscle relaxant, so the treated muscle hardly shows any movement. Fillers, on the other hand, are used to add volume locally. This can include filling wrinkles as well as giving your lips more volume and/or tightening your facial contours.

17. Are fillers safe?

Temporary fillers, based on hyaluronic acid, are relatively safe to use. Due to the temporality, the filler is broken down by the body by itself. Hyaluronic acid is a substance produced by the body, which means that the risk of allergic reactions is extremely small. If you are dissatisfied with the result or if you still suffer from fillers, it is possible to have them resolved prematurely.

18. Can I enjoy a sunny day on the beach immediately after a filler treatment?

It is advised not to sit in the sun for at least the first week after the filler treatment, nor to go under the sunbed. Then you can enjoy the sun again with a high SPF factor. Be careful, both the sun and tanning bed fillers are known to break down faster. Especially if you have fillers applied to the face, you initially avoid the sun as much as possible. Fillers are injected more superficially in places such as around the lips. Fillers that are injected deeper, for example in the cheeks and cheekbones, are less sensitive to UV radiation.

19. Can the place where I have had fillers applied be massaged?

Treated areas should not be massaged for at least 24 to 48 hours after treatment. It is not that fillers shift as a result, but the massage certainly influences the result. To minimize the risks and side effects, keep away from the treated skin, however difficult this may be.

20. Can I treat the treated skin with ice to prevent swelling?

You can cool the treated skin to avoid side effects. Following the instructions is important to avoid side effects.

21. How come I feel the filler?

It is possible that you feel the filler. This feeling sometimes occurs immediately after the treatment and is temporary. The feeling disappears during the days after the treatment. Of course, the filler remains. Fillers that can be felt are generally injected superficially. In places where the filler is injected deeper, such as your cheeks and under a muscle, this chance is very small.
